Last month we launched an appeal for a new higher, more secure fence and cctv system. It came about after a terrifying attempted break in which saw three masked men break our cameras, park up a field away and attempt to break into the yard. The attempted break in seemed well thought out and planned, thankfully they were disturbed by our overnight security and scared off and there hasn’t been a similar incident since. The appeal came about as we are so low on funds after lockdowns affecting our regular fundraisers that would take place throughout the year.
The new fence is more secure and private. It also blocks any visitor viewing of the yard and dogs from outside in the car park. Which was a worry for the Paws team. We may never know what they were attempting to steal, paws is full of rescue dogs. Abandoned or abused dogs that have already been through their fair lot in life than to have to go through anymore. Tipperary Gardaí are investigating the incident.
We are still needing to make some final improvements so, if you can, please, please donate anything at all to our gofundme link here..

Even just the price of a cup of coffee goes a very long way when all of our supporters come together. For now, we can rest a little easier at the end of the day with our new fence and extra safety measures!
